Go to http://www.bearshare.com and download the free version. Its free, and because its file sharing and not pirating its completely legal. Only drawback is they put Zango on your comp, but that doesn't cause any problems except for maybe one extra pop-up a week.
EDIT: Limewire crashed my computer and is loaded with unprotected and unmoderated content and viruses, you can actually look up specific viruses by name. Don't use limewire if you have a history of computer problems.
