Only after every breakup when I was younger!
Now I've learned to only give what I want to give in a relationship. If you remain true to yourself you never need feel used. The liar in a relationship is the loser, whether he lied to gain your affection or to keep it. When the jig is up, you can walk away with your integrity intact and feel good about yourself if you were the best you could honestly be in the relationship and you gave whatever you gave from your heart.

Yes. Some family, and my ex wife. But, happily, the family member (brother)that played me for a fool died, badly. And, I'm happy my brother is dead. I only wish I'd have had the pleasure of killing him myself. But, in a weak moment, I promised my Dad I wouldn't kill his as long as Dad lived. Sadly, bro died before Dad, so I missed the pleasure of killing him.

Sure have... & it can make us wiser about the next time around... teach us to be more cautious.
There's an old saying that goes>>> fool me once, shame on you... fool me twice, shame on me.

yes, and it is not a good feeling knowing that. What is important is that you realize it and get out before the situation gets worse.
