In Beirut, Lebanon the USA marines barracks was blown to bits with the marines inside....on October 23rd, 1983. Someone in a truck ran through the security gate and kept going... When we heard the news my heart felt as if it stopped in my chest...it was such painful news. I'll never forget it. All those young men gone while there were there to protect the Lebanese people. That was just one event that comes to mind.
