I think that I am more afraid that I will be. I would like to say with confidence that I would be brave if confronted by death, either the process or the entity, but I might cry and cower in a manner that some would see as undignified. I do not know how I will be when the time comes. I hope that my last moments are honorable. I suppose that's one reason it's best to live a life to be proud of now.

I am not afraid of death, but I am afraid of pain. Death is a pass thru into another dimension and once your soul gets "there," it can rest awhile and await those that follow or it can choose to be reborn and return. The people I've met that are afraid of death are almost always usually afraid of life. It's ironic to me.

We say we live in a Christian country, but so few people know what that means, It means we are to have a country that is full of christians, but that is not so anymore, But spoeaking as a christian, I can say I know and understand that the God that made the universe made it for us to enjoy, and that He wants a personal relationship with us, The more I establish that realtionship everyday the more I understand that there is a better life in the here after. So living a life that honors Christ and His efforts to provide the way through death, Takes away all fear of death,

I am not afraid of death. I am afraid of things left unsaid or deeds left undone but not death. I don't like the thought of a painful death but again not afraid of death itself.

On the contrary, one should not be afraid of death, but should expect it to come one day, because death is a natural thing to happen when your body break-down, decayed and withers away.
Rich or poor and upon death one will be answerable to God.

Death is the separation of the body and soul. I'm not afraid of death. I know I will be at peace and be reunited with my friends and family who passed on before me.

I am not afraid of death, but of the process of death. I really am afraid of getting cancer and lingering in pain. It's the indignity of dying that I fear more than the actual death itself.

Well, I'm going to say that change often challenges me. Certainly death is a major change. Now I believe that I will continue, yet I find that, when I think about it, I'm reluctant to let this life go. I keep saying, "but I'm not finished yet... I still have things to do." :)
Maybe the answer is that I'm afraid of the thought of it.

yes there was a time when i was afraid, when one day out of the blue i felt cold clammy and sort of out of the world this made me feel as if i was at the end and i was rushed to the hospital and blood pressure was low i was given an injection and told to take an ecg, this had a bad effect on me and i suddenly realised amidst life there is also death, for a while it did scare me but i eventually got out of it as i was ok, ,
i think its normal to feel scared in moments when you are ill but to linger on it is bad as it can cause you to live life in fear, to every one who is afraid i say dont be, as this is something every one has to face and living in constant fear and dread will only make you a mental wreck, so live life to the fullest and what ever you do your not alone in this situation .
