Didn't the rpesident of the NAACP change? Previously the NAACP were very hostile toward the President. Who would want to appear in that environment. Now the rheotoric has been toned down.

I will have all you fanners of the flames know that as Governor Bush got more of the black vote than any Republican ever has before.
Plus I am sorry but at times the NAACP acts more like a hate group than a civil rights group.
If I were Bush, I would not have gone at all.
Maybe you should call yourself Miss Informed!!

About I am Informed, most are not, especially Neoconservatives who promote social division and hate under the guise of being a "good American".
this sounds very divisive

because it took 3 years for enough people to start questioning the war in iraq and 6 years to notice he is dangerous, so until now he didn't feel the need to talk to the NAACP, especially since many of his followers believe affirmative action is reverse discrimination.
also, the republicans are trying to pick up religious blacks by campaigning within the church infrastructure

He hates blacks. His policies are anti-black and I don't believe they think he represents them!
"Do you have blacks, too?"

Why should he speak at an Racist ORG that openly hates him. He did and he was a fool for doing so.
Would you have the same question if he didn't speak at a KKK rally
NAACP is just the black Klan
