I feel that those names are just another way to label people when what we really need to do is get rid of the labels all together. Labeling people misleads people about what to expect from someone when they meet for the first time.
Whether you love people of the opposite sex only, the same sex only or either/both sexes should not have any bearing on what your rights are or on how you are treated by perfect strangers.
If you're not hurting anyone else, then what is the problem? As for laws pertaining to this issue....What the ****? Don't we have far greater problems in this country besides sexual preference?!! Good grief people.

I was BORN a lesbian (YES BORN!!) And I have no interest in having heterosexual relationships. Most of my friends are also gay. I feel that most bisexuals eventually will go one way or the other. I don't believe than bisexuals will spend their lives having relationships with both genders. I also don't think bisexuals are equally attracted to both genders, either. I have a few heterosexual friends, but I must admit it's better for lesbians to keep heterosexual friends who are female instead of male. Males typically cause too many problems for lesbians and the friendships don't typically work out very well, I have found. Heterosexual men typically want more than just friendship from females, so it's pointless and often a disaster even trying to be friends.
As far as gay life - it is not abormal or an illness. It is not a defect or even wrong, and it does not threaten heterosexual living in ANY way. These are proven facts - not opinions. Being gay is not all about sex. It is also about deep, lasting, soul-touching love.

I feel we are all the same! the only time we are different is in the bedroom and then it still dose not matter if we are gay, lesbians, bi, or transgenders all that matters is how we feel about or self.... If others don't like it then they do not have to be around us really I don't see what the big deal is we are all people with feelings!!!!!!
P.S. if it was wrong then why did GOD make them this way????

I am generally accepting of all differences in human beings. Sexuality, gender, age, race, religion, ability...etc.
What I have a problem with are other human beings who are either extremely hateful towards anyone who is different or who dilligently work to limit the rights and accesses to those who are different from themselves.
Strangely, I am a person of faith and I do believe we are ALL God's Creatation. Whatever "God" that may or may not be. I also believe that out of the dozen or so passages in the Bible that supposedly condemn homosexuality, that it's a crying shame that it's those passages which are given more credence than the overall message of the Bible itself, that of love, forgiveness and humility.
No, the Bible is NOT against gays or homosexuality, it's against hate, violence, forced poverty and tyrany.
Sad to say the real message of the Bible is being lost, just as the meaning of Democracy.

The truth is that in the spectrum of it all, your acceptence or lack of it TRUELY MEANS NOTHING to the said "gay" person AT ALL! What is really at issue here is does the "gay" person accept THEMSELVES or do they have issues with their sexuality. I use the word "gay" as an umbrella term for men, women, and whoever else falls into this catagory. If you like them and "accept' them as you say then pat yourself on the back because your trying to pull of the open minded gig. If you hate them, well EVERYONE has an opinion even if you disagree. In closing, the truth is that I am a gay man and I LOVE my life, Love my family, Love my TRUE friends and I REALLY DON'T GIVE A **** IF YOU LIKE ME OR NOT! That is just the truth. We all have a life to live and I'm just too busy to CARE what ANYONE thinks about me at all. You can say its wrong. You can say it is against "gods" plan. Whatever your reasoning my be. Who truely cares. I do know this though....."god' comes in many forms to many people and the God I chose to obey does not judge me. SHE is smiling down at me from whatever heaven is.......:)

I think to a certain extent, I believe homosexuals are perverse. If you watch shows, movies, ...etc regarding homosexual issues, it all is about sex. If it's about love like homosexuals say "there is nothing wrong with love, " well then promote it so other people don't continue to bash homosexuality. I don't get it. As for transgendered, people should be proud of what they were born with. God created us and your Mom gave birth to you. You are who you are. If it's true for homosexuals, than why do transgenders feel the need to change their gender? Being the operation, they should be proud of who they are and what equipement they're born with. I think transgendered people have a mental problem ....

i dont think your question was meant to offend but-i hate when we have to use special wording and seperation on people do i accept them yes they're people so what-the only thing i hate is that there is not a broad acceptance in media for them and if i were gay i would be a bit pissed off to be represented as the 'fab 5' or have you ever watched the show NEXT on mtv..everyone gets bored and watches these stupid channels) all the gays on their are so flamboyant i highly doubt all gay men are all for the glam and makeup bitchy attitude nor do i believe every lesbian is a bitchy dark whench who writes poetry and listens to mellisa etheridge best movie on lesbian sterotypes 'but i'm a cheerleader' lead role that blonde chick from 'the slums of beverly hills'
anyways i accept real people and honost people for who they are its not an infliction its not a disease its not contagious just get over it already arent there more important topics..isnt korea going to blow up america...isnt bush going to be out of office in two years....arent we having global economic problems...what about sudan do you think any of those people give a rats *** who you ****?

I feel they are people. I accept them as people. Sort of in the same way that I'm people, that my mother is people, that all women are people, that tall and short, black and white, gay, straight and inbetween, Republican and Democrat, we're all people. It's how you treat others and this world upon which I base my judgement.
And no, it's not "wrong". It's not "wrong" to be a remarkable artist or "wrong" to play a mean golf game, either. What's WRONG is to marginalize and discriminate, to actively work at regulating and dehumanizing peoples lives based SOLELY on how these people make your stomach feel.

I think gay, lesbian, bisexual & transgender people are awesome. Some of my best friends are of the GLBT persuasion. There is nothing wrong with love and if you love the same gender then so be it, love is love is love, and the heart never lies, so it must be true and the truth is never wrong so it must be ok.

They are what helps make up this world. I accept them as a part of the whole. They are one of the oldest society in the world. check your roman history ,they existed long before Christianity and are still apart of our history today, weather we like it or not. back then they accepted it as part of there society no big hoop-la over it ,what make us think we're so rich as to expel them ,when we've been living with them in our society since before Christ. they have no great impact on my life, I worry about child pornographers, murderers, alcoholics that drive and kill they have a better chance of impacting my life
