The incident which unfortunately toke the life of a British tourist near the Roman Theater in downtown Amman is a lone incident and quit very remote, I am myself a Jordanian and I can assure you that Jordan has the best police and security in the whole of the middle ease and in the life of Jordan (after independence) not even one incident were unanimous but all perpetrators were brought to justice – isn’t that astonishing.
No need for you to convert to Islam or anything like that , you can visit Jordan as a Christine and see and mingle with the oldest christens in the whole world and see the place where John the Baptist Baptized Jesus Christ ( Peace be upon him ). ITS SAFE

Your question is a very good one and it makes us all think what if that was me visiting Jordan? If we stop living and stay home the terrorists and crazy people out there are going to take over the world....we must continue to "live as usual" ....hopefully these animals/people who have no feelings for the other human beings will be caught and punished. It's the way the world has been and will be until peace comes to the world. Each person has their own belief system and how the world will be in the future. God bless all of us.

Yes, i do think so. The shooting in Jordan was, as i believe, a little incident. I am sure Jordan is not a muslim terrorist country. All the states in the MidEast will surely strenghten their security soon. It is my belief, that the muslim countries in the MidEast are still safe for tourists. Though that incident was completely out of mind, the ones involved should never have done that...

We've had the bombings in London, Spain, Saudi and Indonesia amongst others so you could say is any country safe. Jordan is probably one of the safest countries in the Middle East as their security services are geared to the problems of the region which they showed many years ago when they expelled the PLO.

Some countries are definitely not safe. Others, will be less safe than other countries, on average. After all, Jorden was considered relatively safe, whatever that means, although caution was recommended.

Whilst many "Muslim countries" are unsafe for "none-Muslims, I don't know of terrorist attacks in Qatar, Oman, Syria, Iran, Boznia, Kuwait, Libia, Morocco, Malasia, or countries in the Commonwealth of Independent States by terrorists. I also know of no threats to carry out such attacks.
