1.) A Gucci ring is NOT higher then all others.
2.) The reason for it's higher price is cause it IS a GUCCI.
3.) No one will KNOW it's a GUCCI other then yourself, so no point in buying it.
4.) Cartier is probably your #1 seller of diamonds.
5.) .23 carats? My that's awfully small...

the diamond you saw @ the gucci store could have had a much higher rating and any time you buy a brand name you r paying for the name say you had two of the exact same quality diamond rings one is from gucci and the other is from target I think when you were asked where you got it you would rather say gucci. hence paying for the name.

its a big brand, advertising expenses adds to the cost of actual ring, u can get a better deal with less familiar brand.
