Things I've discovered?
Well this isn't a question so if you want your two points go for them.

A. when you say religious people don't condemn things like anal sex and what not, you really have no idea what you're talking about a Theology class would be good for you, as for people in that religion, they are called Hypocrites, the faith however is pure.

B. for such a "group of open and understanding people" that criticize straight people for not going out with transsexuals the same really seems to apply to you all here, so evidently that makes many of you hypocrites as well. My two cents worth for the day, feel free to make any comments you feel necessary.

got to hand it to you IndyT

however, what i get from my "theological studies" is straight from the vatican, so i can and do speak on behalf of the catholic church.

As far as the other issue all Im saying is dont condemn people that you condemn yourself.

sorry poorly written, dont condemn people for disliking the same thing you do, because then you condemn yourself.

The catholic, and supposed christian faith, asks that we try to save as many souls as we can. If someone does not know its wrong to kill a person do we just go by and say, "its ok, we should judge him" or do we instruct him of his errors and show him what is right and what is wrong. Niether you nor I speak for Jesus , so i suggest you wisen up.

I have infact posted a question, in an attempt to ask or see if people might realise there errors, they are free to either ignore or reply. I have in no way shape or form "berated" them, I have niether condemned nor condoned them.

What I "think"?
A) That if you are taking things out of context and not looking into the supposed implications behind the actions that you got absolutely no understanding out of your Theology classes and are doing nothing more than attempting to justify your negative attitudes. There are quite a few Theologians who completely disagree with your interpretations and their conclusions are every bit as valid as the ones you hand pick to back up your bigotry.

B) The criticisms that you seem so sensitive to and bothered by are not about the Transsexuals so much as the intensely judgmental attitudes exhibited by so called "straight" people toward others who would indeed go out with transsexuals.

Nice to see that your arguments amount to litlle more than "I know you are but what am I".

Kind person. This is not an editorial blog nor a discussion board. It is a question and answer service. You have not posed a question, but stated an opinion. You did this in the wrong place.

And while we are at it, you did it for the purpose of antagonizing the people who rightfully come to this section of Y?? to deal with their own issues surrounding sexuality. Not to be harassed or berated by you.

er -- it depends on the religion ----

My faith does NOT condemn anal sex, gay sex, or whatever. There are parts of the denomination to which I belong that do -- but not my parish, and not most American dioceses.

My partner's faith does NOT condemn anal sex, gay sex, or sex in general. There are NO PARTS of his faith tradition that differ on this....

Some religious people may well condemn -- but many DO NOT -- and for you to presume to dare to think that you might, possibly, ever, have the right to judge other people of faith... well... that says exactly what type of religious person you are doesn't it?

Keep your creepy, evil faith -- hopefully it won't help destroy life on earth and the possibility that humanity might survive the planet.

a.Don't judge people, at all, it will only lead to unhappyness! It's not Christian at all to judge people! If Jesus was on this earth today, he'd tell you how damn stupid people like that are! Fiath unfortunatly blinds logic. I think you CAN have a healthy combination of the two, and be a good person and Christian, just don't make people's time on Earth hell because of your insecurities.

b. I two consenting adults can date whoever they want to. And people shouldn't be prejudiced about it!

You stole my question from like a week ago. You hit it right on target. I'm not gay but I was raised in a very strict Roman Catholic environment and it was exactly the way you say.
