I told my mom whom i still live with that when i turn 18 i want to get my lip pierced. She is a stubborn woman w/ strong christian ethics and she is a bit old fashioned. im scared that if i do it anyway, she will kick me out and quit paying for my college...

well when i was younger i wasn't aloud ether but i pierced it my self and they got mad a hell but they got over it, yea they said sum things like take it out or else but they got use to it now i got three piercings or if you do it yourself just don't let them see it or get a clear retainer, i know what your going threw my mom mom has very strong Christan ethics. good luck

i had my lip pierced when i was around your age..now i am 24 and married..and i dont have my lip piercing or my eyebrow..my parents are well educated parents and they did leave it to my decision to get it done if i wanted to..and i did..and i wish i didnt..not like i was a rocker or listend to punk or sth..i am R&B diva lol i just thot they looked nice..trust me they are not necessary and you are going to take to take them off one day..and watch out for the accidents...cuz now i am left with a scar on my eyebrow ( it was an accident i couldnt prevent) and i took my lip piercing off now i have a tiny little hole looking scar..ppl cant notice it but i know it is there and i wish i never had them...i say dont do anything to your face..if you want to pierce anywere on your body go for it if you want but leave your face alone..its woman's beauty..face is very important i say dont mess with it honey. P.S thank God i am a beautiful chicka that even piercings looked good on me..but i still say you dont need them!

well what u have to do,is do it anyways-when u turn 18 ur on your own - u can do whatever you want,and your mom cant tell u what to do anymore - so go for it.
