It was a "tropical depression" when it reached us in Connecticut, but WOW!!! If that is what a tropical depression is like, I don't ever want to be in a hurricane!!!

We had a lot of trees down, lost power for almost a day (but the street next to us had power, go figure....).

I also had damage to my deck furniture which I tried to keep safe as much as possible (took the small things in the house, but the tables and chair had to stay outside).

It was a tropical storm went it went over florida and we had no damage thankfully. You probably got damage because you haven't had any hurricanes or tropical storms or whatever to clear out the weak trees and stuff like we have had a lot of lately.

Nothing in northern MD but a few trees down - winds were unremarkable too. we get winter storms worse than that
