Tell him the truth. Lying to him proved that you were ''young'' if he really likes you, he'll understand. And no he most likely wont break up with you because youre a virgin. If he did, he's be a damn fool because you guys are going extinct I sware. Its sad that now days girls are ashamed to admit when they're virgins. What happened to being proud of that? Its something to take pride in. Good for you...keep it closed LOL and good luck

okay well your relationship is NEVER going to get ANYWHERE if it's based on a lie, trust meee. tell him that you're younger than him right now! don't wait, it'll be worse if you tell him later when things are even more serious. how would you like it if he kept his real age from you too? you'd be pretty hurt right.. so if i were you i'd tell him asap. you're going to start feeling really guilty otherwise! let him know that you didn't want to tell him because you were scared he would break up with you or whatever. on being a virginn you should tell him the truth. otherwise it may be really weird if you guys do decide to have sex since he'll think you already have experience when you don't. also he'll probably like it better that you are one lol if he doesn't and breaks up with you because you are one then he's a jerk... and doesn't actually love you and you dont need him.. but yeah if you're looking into getting serious and spending your life with this guy please do tell him the truth! wish you all the best good luck =)

You need to be honest with him and tell him you are 18, which is only 2 years difference and you are of the legal age so it should not matter to him. Why would you lie about not being a virgin? There is nothing wrong with waiting for the right person to come along. But you need to honest with him before you may do something that you regret later.

Honesty is the basis for any relationship. Yes, tell the truth. Why did you lie to start with? You should soul search and see why you lie. This may be an indicator that you have some insecurities, people pleasing issues, low self esteem or other personality problem. Please get some help. Best of health & happiness. Remember, no relationship can be built on lies. If the person does not like or love you for you, then move on, someone is out their for you! Congrats on saving viirginity! That is honorable! You won't regret waiting for the right guy & marriage!

You must be upfront and honest to begin with. Honesty is the only way to go. When this guy finds out that you are only 18 a guys mind will start to wonder..."I wonder what else she has lied to me about"..... The virgin thing should not be an issue. The honesty thing can taint a relationship from the beginning. Good luck.

Why does he think you are twenty and not a virgin? If you really want this relationship to go somewhere positive then you need to be honest about your age and the fact that you are still a virgin. If this guy is only interested in sex then you are better off without him. Respect yourself...you are a princess that has taken care of herself. Be proud of the fact that you have taken care of your body. If he breaks up with you then he is not someone you need in your life.

I know I'm not a guy but I think you should tell him right away. Hiding stuff and lying to your bf is only gonna cause you more trouble down the line. If he breaks up with you its not because you are a virgin or because your 18, its gonna be cause you lied.

I really don't think that 2 years would make any difference to him if he loves ya. And as for being a virgin he should be very happy to know that you are one. That is a wonderful way to be when you are 18 yrs. old. I don't see any reason for him to break up with you . You sound like a very nice girl to me.

First and foremost, the most important aspects of a relationship is honesty and trust. You should'nt have lied in the first place, but since damage has alredy been done you might as well tell the truth and let him know because it's better late than never, RIGHT? You actually owe it to him to be truthful. So go ahead and tell him...

Allie,

It's hard to keep a lie, because there is so much too remember. Tell the truth.
If he finds out you lied, he will think you are a lier and not really trust you regarding all the important stuff.
And who are you? Who do you want to people think when they think who you really are?
