For the best burgers go to Red Robin.
For BBQ go to Bandanas.
For Italian go to the "hill" where you will find authenic Italian. Favazzas on the hill was excellent!
The Lemp mansion has a great variety with excellent food and service.
I would also recommend going to www.citysearch.com and read the reviews of others who ate at restaurants in the St. Louis area.

Chuey's in Dogtown (Tamm & Clayton Ave.) has the best Mexican food in St. Louis. Actually, it has the best FOOD, period. Tucker's in Soulard and The Best Steakhouse (actual name of the place) at Grand and Washington are both great choices. Tucker's is a more traditional Steakhouse, while Best Steakhouse is a fun, cafeteria-style place. Imo's Pizza can be amazing, but inconsistant. Maurizio's Pizza on Olive is pretty great. It's open late and they also offer condoms, in case you were wondering. I can't really recommend any specific Italian restaraunts, but I CAN tell you to stay away from any place on the Hill. Totally overrated.

Please try Surf & Sirloin on Manchester Rd. It's expensive but I'm tellin ya, it is really worth it. If you can, go for lunch special to keep cost down. You won't be disappointed. There's also a Tucker's Steak House on Manchester Rd. The pork chops are to die for. I agree with the person who doesn't like the hill. We were there last weekend and didn't like it. We still like Pasta House very much. I agree with Bandanas also. Yum.
