Remus Horse Sanctuary in Essex needs lots of support. The Essex Horse and Pony Protection Society are based near Basildon, Essex and have a really good set up, with a visiter centre and shops to look at.

you like land, safeguard, fencing, nutrition. this is a worth dream yet not practicle for many folk. do you have deep wallet? maximum folk won't be in a position to make a living doing this so as that they could desire to have a source of income. Then there is fund elevating, vet care, 24/7 look after the animals. this is a significant, enormous element and not some thing somebody could only bounce into. I even have 3 horses and a donkey alongside with 6 canines that I own and that they are approximately all i'm able to safeguard. the 1st element you will could desire to evaluate is your limits. people who don't be responsive to their limits frequently fall in excess of their heads and the animals finally end up suffering. verify with your community humane society or agriculture branch approximately what they propose so some distance as what legalities you're able to desire to persist with.

Definately Horseworld. It is one of the largest equine welfare charities in Europe and does excellent work with the RSPCA and BHS. I happen to know that they do very nice home made cakes too.
Keep an eye out for Garth the mule. He jumps out of any stable he gets put in so he is free range at the visitor centre.
