Yes. The street I live on in Metairie. There are still some trailors on the street,they are going slowly but surely as people are almost done redoing their homes there, our house was fine, just fence and a little roof damage. The city and French Quarter were messy, but relatively unharmed.

Depends on what you mean by completely uneffected. There are many parts of the city that were not destroyed or even flooded.

I want to go back to New Orleans. I was there two years before Katrina. I loved it. The French Quarter was mostly uneffected. New Orleans could really use to return of tourism $$ too.

Yea. I lived off of Esplanade and I only got a foot of water down the street. Good thing my house was a foot off the ground. You should be asking if there were any homes on the MS gulf coast. EVERYTHING WAS AFFECTED! not too many people seem to give a damn about that though.
