It depends upon the type of company/structure of the accounting department you work for.
Within larger corporate companies you will get your own office at a management level (CPA with numerous years of experience) and above.
Otherwise, expect a cubicle and possibly a radio.
Within a smaller company, office/desk varies.

It really depends on who you work for. If you are relatively new in the industry you probably will not get your own office if you are working amongst other accountants. If you are in an environment where you are the only accountant then that might be a different situation.

My mom works out of our house and she is self employed and makes a decent living, we're sorta kinda rich.
