your looking at about 6.5 hours of labor to install your clutch kit, so depending on what your mechanic charges per hour, I charge 45 and hour so that would be 288 dollars for labor plus whatever your clutch kit is going to cost. If your vehicle is a 2005, it should be under warranty though still (unless you bought it used off of someone), but before assuming that it is your clutch, make sure that you don't have a hydraulic clutch. If you do, check the reservoir fluid level, it may just be low ... if it is, fill it with the recommended fluid (usually just plain brake fluid), and your system should be able to pump its self back up by pumping your clutch pedal.

I'm going to guess about 4 hours, at 50 bucks per hour, 200, plus another 150 for parts, so about 350

a lot over 1000 call the dealer parts alone will be xpensive and if you find some one that works for 50 an hour you better take it and make sure its a decent shop
