I heard the story on the news, and they called it a "freak accident"...
Well, not exactly.
For a guy that swims with sharks, wrestles alligators, and plays with poisonus snakes, getting killed by one of these creatures isn't really a "freak accident" but more likely an "occupational hazard".
If an accountant in Tulsa, Oklahoma was walking down the street and was stung in the heart by a stingray, THAT would be a "freak accident". What happened to Steve Irwin, while tragic, was certainly not surprising.

Sure, there's no question- Just like a sedentary lifestyle spent sitting at a desk all day, then coming home and staying inside, avoiding dangerous outdoor activities, watching TV, eating junk food, playing video games, gaining weight and being online is eventually a heart attack waiting to happen.
Every lifestyle has it's hazards- there's no completely risk-free option. We just choose which risks are acceptable to us, and enjoy life accordingly. When you're number is up, it's up.
At least Steve Irwin was doing what he loved, and bringing joy & excitement to people around the world. He will be missed.

Lifestyle, eventually something could go wrong and lead to his death. There was a small chance though that He could have lived his life and cheated death. His time had come. I hope he believed in Jesus Christ.

He was fearless, he loved all animals and I'm sure he knew that one day he might be killed by one. He knew the risk of his love and passion. It was his time and he died doing what he loved. My prayers go out to his wife and children. He was a legand and he will be greatly missed.

It was a freak accident, but it was doing something he has done his whole life and that he loved. It is terribly sad though. I send my condolences to his family.
