yes I did - I was a bit shocked as nobody told me about this and I was a bit embarrased. Now I know it is the norm. Saying that, I don't think it is normal if it carries on for days after the birth. If this is the case with you, consult your doctor/midwife/health visitor. You may get referred back to the hospital.

Ok, yeah i did. Had a few really tiny ones, almost like the occasional ones you get with a period, had my son thurs 2.33 then went out the sun at about dinner time for a 10min walk, got home went to toilet and there was a huge one the size of my palm...yeah ok i know its grose but im coming to my point. If a clot is bigger than a 50p its to be kept to show the midwife as they need to check its not placenta that may be left behind. Mine was massive i never even felt it come out, midwife checked and it was just a huge clot. It happens but make sure you get it checked, if its placenta u may need to go back in and be checked as placenta left inside causes infection

the single contained in the grasp bathing room is a nil. The seat is loose and it has 2 push buttons for flushing. One for low ability, one for top. I hate it. i exploit the single contained in the focused visitor bathing room and that's a good looking 10. It has a cope with! won't be able to wait to circulate abode and use it!

That's normal, but if you're concerned call your OB/GYN--that's what they're there for.

Take care--remember giving birth isn't for the faint of heart. In a few weeks you'll be all better and happily ensconced in motherhood.

oh yes! A few huge ones then they tailed off to tiny bitty ones. Don't worry, it's normal and as long as they get smaller, don't smell offensive and they taper off in frequency-they'll stop. They may get heavier when your breast feeding but again they will slow & stop soon enough.

dont worry too much, usually 7-10 days it can happen especially if breast feeding. Just make sure that no placenta was left or it can be tricky for you, good luck with baby!!
