Is todays music full of crap?

There was a time when we could all dance to some good love songs,decent protest songs and songs that exude passion among listeners.
Nowadays,it's just sickening and disgusting when mutha4kas just yab about their chains,sneakers,booty,rims and other ill gotten posession all in the name of music.It shows complete lack of talent on the side of the musicians and lack of reasoning on the part of those that fancy such garbage.There are still decent guys out there that can sing.Please lets patronize them and put the glutons out of circulation.Do you agree?

you imagine its quickly? i imagine maximum of what they play on the oftentimes used stations in the Denver area play sluggish stuff. yet I agree i don't like it, I very nearly not in any respect pay interest to the radio nor do i purchase/acquire the type of stuff they play on the radio. i imagine there replaced right into a lot more effective stuff like 5+ years in the past. I regularly pay interest to older music basically because it supplies me some thing diverse to take heed to. There basically isn't sufficient kind on the radio, or maybe as they wrestle to make kind, like they use to attempt this ingredient at 11pm the position they play techno or maybe with the reality that, and its sluggish and boring and that i wager human beings turn the radio off even as it starts! lol. And yeah i love a number of lady Gaga's songs, notwithstanding it upsets me how she receives on the radio, and there are a number of different artists who do pop-dance stuff like hers yet its way more effective or a minimum of basically almost as good, yet they're from Europe so as that should be why. Anyhoo, yeah, pop music sucks today..

I had this same conversation with a complete stranger I met when I was looking at CD's recently. We both agreed, however, that we're glad so many of the old artists are STILL recording and putting out really good stuff!

TURN OFF YOUR RADIO!!!!
There is plenty of great music to be found on CDs, online music, local bands, and underground clubs. Support your favorite musicians!! Call the radio stations!! Do something.

The music pop radio promotes is for people with disposable cash, usually kids with rich parents that like to flaunt, thus the materialistic songs and flashy performers. Sex sells, so of course you can expect booty music.

Make your money talk by supporting good music.

This is why I don't listen to the radio. I don't need the music companies telling me what to like. I prefer to decide that on my own. I like to read underground music forums and get the word of mouth as to what's hot.

well, it sounds like you're a geezer like me so......i wouldn't exactly say it's full of crap. people said that when i was young too (about our music), but to those of us who have heard tons of better music over the (many) years, it kinda does (sound liike crap). every new band resembles SOMEBODY from the past (except rap). i feel sorry for people who weren't around then. i mean, remember the first time you heard jimi hendrix? there was nothing like it before. jefferson airplane..totally new sound then....cream.....remember when led zeppelin was new? you get my drift. everything was new! remember when there was no pink floyd? ah, the good old days. makes me glad i'm a geezer
