Why? Is it your 1st time? Or did you transfer?

If you're NOT a transferee, be at peace with the thought that just about everybody is about as freaked out as you are no matter how they look. Also, you'll STILL have the same old friends and familiar faces around so take some comfort in that. As for ground rules and school work, relax. There's always a little more leeway for newbies -- just try to learn them as quickly as you can.

If you're a transferee, that's always tough -- especially if its your 1st time. Try to fit in -- wear clothes that everyone wears, etc. until you feel comfortable enough to be just you. Also, try to get to know people who live near you. They'll probably be mroe receptive to you seeing as how you'll be neighbors for a while.

Trip and fall in front of everyone on the first day. That way the most embarassing thing that can happen will be over and you'll be able to go on without feeling nervous anymore.

like if theres a leadership program there, join it. you'll make a bunch of friends in all of the grades. they'll give you tips and info. i did that and highschool is pretty easy. just study and be prepared. dont forget your homework, and have fun while trying to learn. ;)

breathe, its just high school, its not as big of a deal as people make it out to be, it was the best school years for me, easily. Have fun, meet new people and do your best! Try to get involved as much as you can, that way you'll always have something to remember about it.
