I can't believe it!! My thought and prayers go out to his family especially his young children. I always thought he might lose a limb to one of those crocks. But never this. The Animal Planet channel will never be the same. R.I.P. Steve you will be missed.

Unfortunately and sadly, yes.
You can get lots more info on Animal Planet's web page and leave messages of sympathy for his family, but all day long it has been getting so many hits that you can barely get the page to load with all the traffic.

Yep!!!!! I think Everyone is shocked about this, I was and It is all over the News/Internet, ect..... HE will be Missed and my Heart goes out to his Dear Sweet Wife and Lovable children. He was filming something and got harpooned by a stingray.

I've expected it and I think everyone else did too, just not so soon. You can't spend that much time messing with wild animals in their natural habitat without reprocussion. I mean seriously, how many times has he been bitten, scratched, hit, stung, grabbed etc. already? It was just a matter of time. I thought it would have been a crocodile myself - fitting.

Yes its true, he was stung (Sting of death!) by a stingray in his chest near the heart.
I expected it would happen after I seen hiw he got careless with a baby in his arm near a wild croc. Come on, when you are that careless its almost certain that a wild animal will end up hurting you somehow. People like him get so good at wrangling wild animals that they start acting like one could never hurt them faitaly and they start to become careless!
