My mom got a new cell phone (one every two years), I want a cell phone, but my mom said no. I was wondering if I could get her old cell phone joined to her plan, (veirzon, 300 minutes) without changing plans. Also, would I get a new number? And would I get a new cell phone every two years? Please tell me how to do this in details and if they are going to charge for the phone and if my mom will have to change her plan. I hope this is possible. Please explain everything in detail. Also, I want,to share her minutes with her old phone and her new phone. I do not want her to change plans. PLease have it in detail!

With Verizon you would not be able to keep the plan of 300 minutes which is $39.99 but she could get you your own phone for free if she signed a new plan. But the plan would then be $69.99 but with 700 shared minutes. Yes your mother will have to change her plan to have a shared person on her account regardless if you used her old phone or accepted one of the free ones.
