I don't know! I told depression to **** off years ago! I have nothing against a rainy beach and nothin really gets me down anymore, except maybe this stupid war.

A beach in the rain isn't always depressing, sometimes it's inviting. It's quite beautiful too. Usually empty, a surfer or two here and there. It can be very romantic.

I love the beach in the rain. All the sea creatures come out and I usually have the whole place to myself.

after reading some of the depressing answers that you got, I have to say "yes". It's the sight of me going down the beach to do a Reginald Perrin!!(and that not a pretty sight)

a rain soaked sports stadium, empty except for the child standing in the middle of the field holding a ball.

Ah YES! Animals being killed for no reason (cats on fire, dogs hit by cars) people dying, babies being born with diseases... ETC ETC! Rain on the is pretty damn far from depressing.... compared to the rest of the stuff that goes on in the world today.

Yes. Two fifteen year old female chavs fighting outside MacDonalds with their toddlers sat eating chicken nuggets in their buggies, looking on. Saw that earlier. That was depressing.

what about the influx of immigrants in to the U.K?
Then seeing them queue outside the jobcentre to get their benefits. Or a tramp with the newst mobile phone. Or a pregnant women smoking and drinking. Or some-one cheating the system having more money than some-one who warks hard,just to get by. That is depressing.
