Hire a former enemy and he/she will be more loyal than a friend, because he/she has more to prove. In fact, you have more to fear from friends than from enemies.

It seems true that an enemy you can understand better than a friend. Does anyone have any personal experience of this law?

How can you trust an enemy? The very word tells you that they are not to be trusted. Everything that you say and do will be held in contempt and you will never be trusted. How do you reverse the emotion. The answer is you cant. You might calm the emotion but in the right situation it will return/ Would you always have the complete confidence that the enemy has completely revised there opinion?, and could you be absolutely certain of your own emotions?

An enemy is maybe too strong a word to use. However most of us meet people who make us uncomfortable etc and not someone to necessarily warm too. My approach is to see this as a challenge, to understand the other person, and whilst they may not necessarily be my best friend, often they have been the most supportive and understanding. The relationship has often been sustained more than a normal friendship would.

the old saying is keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.. When on placement at college, there was another student who was manipulative, two faced and there was no love lost between us, I had a placement that was none statutory hers was stautory, we were on opposite sides so as to speak.. I actually made sure I worked with her on certain strategies, included her in updates and kept all meeting official, this worked as she was unable to sabotage my project (which she would have clearly liked to have done) and it ended up with us both getting a distinction.. with out keeping her close, it could have wrecked both our placements due to ill feelings.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer...that's not a law, just a cliche. But there's some truth to it.

god save me from my friends, as with enemies I handle myself...
can't remember the exact sentence..

I think it's all about one thing - if someone is an enemy you will always expect the bad things from him, but when a friend causes you pain it is a total surprise, as friends are there to support you, to be good for you...

and one more thing I would like to say : if someone is your friend he/she will be a friend forever otherwise the friendship never existed.
the diffrence between love and friendship is that you can love someone who doesn't love you but you can't be a friend with someone who doesn't want to be your friend.

I'm kinda fussy about what I tell friends...I try not to make to many enmies. Well considering most enmies use to be friends I suppose that they do have more to prove in the sense they try to show you how much better they can do.

that is true. it never happen to me but it happen to my cousin. her best friend turned out to be her worst enemy and that is because as friends we give them the amunation to destroy us.

POEM

do not tell your friends a lie
do not tell your friends the truth
for when your friend becomes your foe
all over the world your secret goes.

remember that.
