P.S. = post script

This is used to add further information to a letter after you have have already done the close and signed it. In the days before msword letters were all hand written. You could not just simple move parts of letter around like you can a computer screen to add more thoughts. The p.s. is an internationaly accepted way to add further thoughts.

When someone wirtes P.S. at the end of a letter or an E-mail it should mean (Post. Scripted) meaning that it's a reminder or it's something that they should have said during the letter but didn't remember until it was all said and done with.

PS means by the way , something that someone forgot to say in your letter that has already closed. they need to add something else to the letter
