I don't think there's anywhere at Sea World where you can actually get in the water. There are a lot of fun things to see and do there, though. If you have kids they probably would like going back again in a few month. Then they'll feel like they remember things and know the place, but won't be bored of it yet.

Kids sometimes go there (at special discount prices) for school trips and scouts and things like that. but then you're with a group and have to go where they tell you--it's nice to be able to go on your own. By the time you've lived in San Diego several years you might get tired of it, but it's worth it for a couple of years to get passes, because things will still be exciting.

So, just wait a while, around the holidays they'll have special things that they don't have now, and by then you'll have forgotten a bit, both of what you saw and of how tired your feet are!

When you go for the day, you feel like you have to cram everything in. When you get a pass you feel like you can go see what's interesting and then go home when you're tired because you can come back another day to see more.
