I can't always find this to be true. Men and women are made to "come" at the same time, actually. When the man comes, he "spews" semen into the vagina and when the woman comes, she experiences a sort of muscular contraction that kind of pulls everything up inside of her. When the two happen at once (which is supposed to happen), it increases the chance of pregnancy because you have two forces acting on the sperm, drawing it up into the female reproductive organs. Typically, when the man comes first, it is simply because he hasn't had enough experience in having sex and becomes overstimulated. There are many a time when my girlfriends would come once, twice, or three times before I did.
