Seeing how you never said anything is wrong with the boat, I will save everyone. Unless you are refering to "saving" in a religious sense, then I would let their own beliefs be judged and have them fend for themselves.

IF presented with the scenerio of chosing one life over another, parents, family, friends, I would have to say I would try to save whomever as long as I can until I can't any longer. There are many scenerios that can play out here, but I would probably start with those that have the lowest ability to save themselves and try to work with others to save themselves and the remaining on board.

first i will save my parents as they are old & they need help. my friends will be young & they can look after themselves.however i will throw some life jackets & ropes etc with the help of which they can reach the bank. but actually or practically speaking we save people who are near to us( that it whomever i see or can get hold of. )we don't see whether they r our parents or friends or strangers. we leave the people who know swimming & try to save the people who are drowning. without thinking who they r. sorry i cannot say " we can always get friends. we can get different friends but not the same ones, isn't it ?"

My friends, I am in my parent's will and I stand to gain a large estate and I don't value their lives as much as my female friends of which I have benefits with.

As a matter of fact, we are going boating today, I may have to put this theory to task. "Land-ho"....just not for 'rents...cement shoes for the both of them....hell, may as well as throw in the grandparents while I am at it!

Thanks for the idea....you can be my accessory!

though life of every individual is very precious cus its that wonderful gift of god but being selfish here obviously i will save my parents.i can not justify this but parents u only get once , u dont make parents every when ever u go to new place but we can some time manage to come across new friends!!! i wish no one ever gets into such kind of situation where one has to choose between two lives. If i ask u which eye is more important to you which one will you choose!!!!

If they are in the boat, they should be okay. There is no one to save in that case.
