stretching outwards instead of upwards, anyone else experienced this and in what week did your stomach start stretching upwards?

You're fine sweetie. Everyone carries differently. With my first two you couldn't tell I was pregnant until I was almost 7 months pregnant. With this one, I'm only at 22 wks and you can tell. So I'm carrying this baby very similar to how you're carrying yours. As long as your doctor isn't concerned, and your ultrasounds have turned out good, then don't worry about it. I'm sure baby is growing fine and very soon, you'll be as big as a house because that baby will literally grow like a weed. ;) Good luck honey and take care of yourself. =)

Let's hear it for outwards! I've seen ladies who didn't look pregnant at all. From the back there was no evidence of widening. Tiny slim little people with a little pooch going forwards. My birthing class went for four weeks. And in that time. Every single one of us went from outwards to upwards as the baby filled up every inch of space and then made more!

hey- nouthing to worry about.
I'm 29 weeks and mine is the same just seems to be growing outwards and not up..i think probably will start to do so the last 11 weeks as the baby grows rapidly.

I have seen people that only go outwards and not spread up and down.

all depends on where the baby is staying how it is laying and such congrats and good luck
