My husbands ex is always in the picture. Originally they stated that they didn't like her and was glad they didn't marry. Because he went to them when we argue, they have decided that they don't care for me.

been in a similar situation.. my mom didn't like my wife for years... but she realized that if she disrespects my wife than she disrespects me... and i wont have that... she will show my wife respect or she can kiss my a**... that is my life now.. and if she loves and respects me than she will live to respect my family as well....

I won't allow my family to disrespect my wife. Even when my mother did not like my wife at first, she cannot disrespect her, and neither anyone in our big clan ever disrespected my wife because if they do all hell will break loose.
Therefore, it is up for the husband, if the husband shows disrespect to his wife, then the whole family goes with it.. even with just an iota of descrimination against her will do it.

you need to get over your jealousies of his ex g/f and realize you have him and not her so what they accept her as family its not like he still seeing her and you can't pick who can be in the family and who can't be all you can do is be lucky that they let you in i mean he don't have to be with you he could be with her but he wants you and you don't realize it but if you keep this up he just might get tired of your sh## and leave you ok when she comes over just try to be nice to her because they always say keep your friends but keep your enemies closer....

My wife is the most important person in my life... If my family had a problem with her, they wouldn't see me unless they kept their opinions to themselves.

my ex-B/F family always invited his ex to everything , hoping they would get back together I would tell him how i felt he didn't care cause he wouldn't stand up to his parents about it.I got sick of it and broke up.if it were my family doing it i would say this is who i'm with accept it or you will see less of me.

it sounds to me like a respect problem he do'es not respect you enuff to keep your private life private and to keep his family out of it so now you need to standup and decide to take it or not if i was you i would not let him and them know how you feel

HE IS WRONG TO GO TO THEM WHE YOU TWO ARGUE. IT IS A BETRAYAL OF YOUR MARRIAGE AND A VIOLATION OF YOUR TRUST. OF COURSE THEY WILL HATE YOU IF ALL THEY HEAR ABOUT YOU IS BAD THINGS.
