That is so uncool. I think it would be alright for him to talk to her, but he needs to be honest with you about talking to her. Hugging is a very special form of affection that should not be shared with an ex, hence the word with an emphasis on EX. That would not be cool at all

I think it depends on the type of hug..... There is the half hug where only an arm goes around shoulder and no body contact besides that. And there is the full on hug, which is both arms around eachother for more than a few seconds and full body contact........ but if the ex is a friend of the family than it shouldn't be a big deal, but you can tell alot by a hug and the mannerisms of the two that are hugging

I don't see it as an issue if she is a friend of the familys. If she were only hugging your husband then I might see it as a problem. If your husband loves you and you trust him, let it go and don't be jealous.

Yes, I think it is just alright if it is always within your sight. It has become their way of life, just live with it and don't doubt anything unless you have proof or sense something wrong, say they will be hugging each other somewhere around the corner beyond the view of others, then it is time to react.

I doubt he is even thinking twice about hugging her. Since she is a friend of the family it's probably just like a standard thing to do. It would bother me tho and I'd just ask my hubby to stop hugging her cuz it bugs me. I doubt he'll put up a fuss about stopping.

Not OK. She can hug Mom, Dad, brothers and Sisters, or even the dog- but NOT your husband. He shouldn't be hugging, kissing, holding hands, having lunch, or anything else with any Ex. PERIOD. NEVER. It's up to him to set this woman straight. Or, divorce his butt. Yup, it IS that serious.

Sure it's ok if there are no feelings other than "family friend". It shows your man is mature enough to move passed a break up and still be amicable with that person. Sit back and enjoy the fact that you have what she lost.

Not if its not ok with you it isn't. Would it be okay with him if you hugged ex boyfriends? Thats the real test, if he wouldn't be ok with it if your positions were reversed he has no right to ask you to be ok with it.

As long as there are NO mutual feelings between the two then I guess it's alright. I have no desire to be with my ex but she still is welcome to any get together my family or I have. We're still best friends.
