Also do you say lol as a complete word joined together or do you actually say it out in full 'Laugh Out Loud'. it one of them wierd things I have to ask lol.

Sometimes I have a little trouble typing. I seem to make a lot more errors now than I used to, but I enjoy butchering the english language as more of a joke. I usually say lol, but I don't often talk in that sort of talk. I rarely, rarely do it because I find it horribly annoying. Since it's MSN, I really don't find any reason to use short hand or anything. I have a keyboard, nobody's getting charged 5 cents a minute for texting... there's no need to abbreviate most things or anything. I only use lol just to show that something's humorous.

I thought that if i kept using short hand on im's or texts that i would become a bad speller, but i find that when writing notes or letters i have to spell correctly or i get annoyed with myself and tell myself off, (but never out loud, because that would look weird!) lol

I say lol all the time, and I've become a bad speller cuz i'm so used to spell check i don't even think about typing n e more, i just expect it to be "auto-corrected. LOL!
(case in point i so just spelled expect wrong and had to change it, hahaha...)

INsome countries people would say that some persons have turned in to bad spellers because they use short hand language. (It is because they have gotten use to using short hand.)

Nope, this is why I avoid using slang terms, IM jargon and even contractions. If I'm laughing at something funny on IM I just say HA!

yeh I ges so, but its the same 4 txtin. I wonder is txt language & IM lang. acceptable on yahoo answers, suppose it it eh? afterall we are in the era of the electronic tech lang. lol!

actually msn helped me type faster. occasionally when i'm typing for hw i'll type U instead of you or things like that but once i get onto the second pg i'll be typing full words again. and i don't say lol but sometimes i do say wtf lik letter by letter not the whole word.
