Thi question is for those who oppose gay marriage.

its not my thing, but I think what two concenting adults do in the privacy of their own home is none of my buisness. I don't want someone telling me how to run my life, so who am I to say how they should run theirs. If a gay couple is in a long term relationship, if one person gets sick and dies that partner has no legal right to make any decisions on behalf of them. No matter if they were together 30 years, they can't make the funeral arrangements, nothing. I have heard that is one of the main reasons for wanting the ability to be legally married. I think we have bigger problems in the world to worry about, sorry......

I've always been for gay/lesbian marriages. If a person can marry a person from one gender, then why not the other. The law is supposed to be blind. Apparently a lot of people in the U.S. skipped that part of social studies.

I would still oppose gay marriage. I would love my family member, but I don't believe being gay is right.
