First off, what happened to Steve was a rare occurrence. Second, we're all gonna die, son. Might as well do it doing something we love. Me, I don't go hugging wild creatures, but I do have a love for bungee jumping. Hey, if the S%^& hits the fan, and that's how I go out, at least I will have enjoyed those final moments. Most folks go through life scared S&*(less to die, and the end up spending thier last breaths laying in a hospital bed...now that sucks!!

Yes, they're going to far, and no, we shouldn't be issuing warnings. We do too much hand-holding as it is to try to keep people out of trouble when they don't want to use their own common sense. This last guy, I forget his name, knew he was doing dangerous things. That was his schtick. He was willing to take the risks. Eventually it caught up with him. That's life. Or in this case, that's death. As far as everyone else goes, I get a bit sick of us trying to protect everyone from their lack of common sense. Let survival of the fittest prevail. Death to dummies.

No. His death by the stingray was a rare occurence. Stingrays are usually docile. His heart was punctured and he died very quickly.
