worn rotors don't make noise. If your brakes are noisy you can get some compound in a tube that you put on the back of the brake pads so the vibration is deadened.

If your rotors are warped, they will pulsate when you stop, but it's not a noise per se.

its almost as cheap to just get new rotors. most of the time its pads that wear out first. they are 12 bucks about.Just change the pads they will wear into small grooves ok. but watch what your doing with that. It could be just the wear tab on the pads making the noise letting you know its time for new pads . if the rotors arent bad you dont have to change them just the pads

if they can be turned turn them most machine shops will do itr for less then $10
