I can really identify. My husband I had a similar situation. He was so sexually gifted that it was nothing less than amazing. However he was unable to keep it in his pants and he shared his gift with the world.
I admittedly did some things later on in the relationship too and we ultimately split. However, I took some time to be alone and I kept my husband as a (condom wearing) sex buddy.
You don't need to rush into another relationship. If you were seeing this "friend" during a time of turmoil in your marriage he may or may not be the best partner for you now. Take some time and space and find out what you want.
Ultimately I decided that although my husband could give my body what it wanted he couldn't give my spirit what it needed. I let that relationship go and we remained friends.
I still wouldn't kick him out of bed but the big picture shows me that I'm worth more than a roll in the hay even if it is really good.

Many issues here. I told my eldest son a story once about the little furry creature. The story is about someone finding a little furry creature which he or she believes is the absolutely most unique and best in the world such that the person will do almost anything to keep it, even kill to keep it. Well, the story is a way of telling that there is not an absolutely most unique and best one. Such it is with your situation thinking that your wayward husband is the best, etc. Forget it. I used to think like that a long time ago and lived to regret it. When you are truly in love with your spouse that is the best there is, i.e., the sexual aspects. In your case, I suggest that you forget about the friend you cheated with, for he has already shown you that he is an untrustworthy specimen. Then if you believe you and your husband could work things out to maintain the marriage, then I suggest pastoral counseling (good, family principled stuff). But, and I do not need to tell you this but will, your husband will have to want to work things out as well, otherwise it is like whizzing into a hurricane expecting not to get wet. Loving someone should not just be based on emotion. It involves a conscious decision and committment. Emotions pass. Do not ever let your emotions run your life, lass.

Life is a lot more than wonderful, out of this world sex. I know it's great, but in the grand scheme of things, life is more than just that. You need MORE than that to have a full, well-rounded life! Move on in your life now, and find the "total" package....great sex, and all the other things you're missing, like love and happiness. Good Luck!!

Hubby was sooooo good in bed, so you slept with somebody else. How does that make sense? It's like- My steak dinner was so good I ate hot dogs instead. Asking what should you do now is silly. It's already done. Both of you broke the marriage. So, end it, grow up, and hope to find somebody in the future.

Good for your husband......guess he'll be having out of this world sex with others now! Don't stay with someone for the sex....you obviously don't love each other or you wouldn't have cheated....so why waste your life....

If you want a relationship based solely on sex then stay. I would hope that there are things in life more important to you than just sex...

why would you want to be in a relationship where he is having sex with other women? Think about getting out - the sooner the better!

If the both of you are willing counseling wouldn't hurt. There are plenty of swinging couples out there. Just depends on what you want.

He's having his "out of this world" sex with other girls too... Is it really worth it? I think not.
