No point, they'd just scoff at the idea and call you a neocon. For the most part, they are brainless and hypocrtical. They have but one credo and that is to spread the lies of double standards, blatant mistruths, and false information.

that's not a very good comparison.... i mean if they are against the war, that doesn't mean they are on the side of the terrorists, it means they don't want our troops OR terrorists fighting a war. To say that they should go support the terrorist is ridiculous.
That's like when I hear someone say they are "pro-choice" and an anti-abortion person calls them a "pro-abortionist"... they aren't PRO abortion, they just think someone should be able to choose for themself...personally i think abortion is wrong and would never guide someone in that direction, but i also don't think i have the right to tell someone they CAN'T.
Just like with the war... i don't know everything about it (just like everyone else...although some think they know what it's all about, they really don't)... i support our troops, and i think that the people over there have a right to experience the same freedoms we have in the states, that doesn't mean that i am willing to sign up and go fight for someone else in another country that I don't even know.... i have a family and a life here that is too important to me to do that... if others want to...GREAT!!! if anit-war activists wanna hold their banners.... GREAT!!! and if some of us wanna do the things that we do (like help underpriviledged kids, taking care of the elderly, teaching our nations children....) then we have a right to do those things too.
We live in a country where we are given liberties to do almost anything we want, and just because we live in America doesn't mean we have more of a right to those liberties than anyone else, each person on this planet should be given those some freedoms. Luckily we have men and women here who are willing to fight for those other peoples freedoms, with nothing in it for themselves...
anyway, that's how i feel about it...
:)

You are confused. Most liberals are against the Iraq war because the Bush admin's justification for being there was based on premeditated fabrications about WMD and tailored intelligence. Most of those same liberals are fully supportive of the real war on terror, but not corporate greed or empire building. There are very few liberals against the Taliban/Afghan military action. By the way, I have never told anyone to go volunteer for military service, even misled conservatives.

Who thinks we shouldn't be Afghanistan?
Iraq is a false war and without it, no Americans would be killed by Iraqis after the Gulf War.

Personally, I don't think anyone on either side should be telling anyone else they don't have a right to SAY anything. Not having the right to speak your mind is a hallmark of a dictatorship.

Good idea! But it would only fall on deaf ears because libs are like that line in "The Boxer" song by Simon and Garfunkel which goes.... "Still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest."
Have a great day!!!

I was waiting for Hillary Clinton to say that because Bush didn't go that he has no right sending others.
Of course she never did either! So, she would have no say in it either!

I see, you are one of those that must follow everything done by
Bush/Cheny/Rummy in order to consider yourself an American?
Sad, very sad.
Grow up...open your eyes.
There are a lot of people that disagree with this war. In fact, 70% of the country disagrees with it.

I'd very much like to know where you heard that load of nonsense.
No liberal would ever tell someone that they can't say what they wish and support whom them wish.
Personally I prefer it when people tell me they support Bush, that way I know immediately that they are mentally challenged and I dumb down my speech accordingly...
