They all pose a security risk. So try them one at a time, looking for the stuff that you want. But CLOSE the ones that you are not using. Don't walk away from your computer while downloading. Check each file that you get. Watch for unidentified transfers. Be safe!

If you want music, try http://www.iTunes.com .

It depends upon the kinds of files you're interested in- some people sharing music prefer one app, people looking for programs or games may prefer another. Generally the biggest factor in what makes a P2P good is the size of the community (more sources)

So you'll want to use the most popular program- I think Kazaa has the most users nowadays but I'm not sure. EDonkey has been replaced by newer programs- Morpheus may be good too, but I haven't used any of them for a few years- I defer to others on what's current.

It goes without saying that Itunes is the recommended source for music- it's legal :) That disclaimer aside, happy hunting!

Hey Michelle,

In regards to the question you asked me about Life As We Know It, I double checked my files and they are the same ones that are shown on torrentspy.com. All of them have been encoded with xvid and they work flawlessly in Windows Media Player 10. You could try downloading the ffdshow codec package... it's pretty popular and the codecs seem to work fine. But, it sounds like you might have some corrupt files. Have you tried all 4 of them? You could also try them in a different media player. If you still have trouble, email me at swhlye@yahoo.com.

Take your pick! They are all perfectly infested with viruses! Do you understand what peer to peer means? It means you are downloading files from another members PC! Not from the file sharing site! All the site does is connect you to other users! How much crap you think is on other peoples systems? Then you have people like Cait below who think they arent infected.....lol

They all offer illegal file sharing, so it probably does not matter which one you choose.
