how can text games be retarted? seems to me that you need a text based game, to help you spell better. it's spelled "retarded".

also, it's not text base, it's text based, because it is based on text (words), and they are much more imaginitive, forcing you to picture what you think things should look like. in fact, after a few months of playing text games, you start to see pictures instead of words anyway
