$2.50 per kid per hour is the going rate here. Or a weekly rate of $75.00 per kid which is what I pay during the summer months.(Western Nebraska) Even if your child is there for the whole week or not the contract says that you pay $75 a week. I do the hourly rate during the school year because it cheaper to pay the $2.50 an hour and $1.50 for the ride to school and another $1.50 for the ride back to daycare. So it's usually $40.00 a week during the school year unless they have a day off from school then it goes up.

It depends on the going rate in your neighborhood. Also depends on your age, experience, age of the children, how many children and the financial status of your client. You should get what your worth. Babysitting is a lot of responsibility, but you have to be affordable too.
I hope you like kids. I have one daughter who only babysat for money. She made sure the kids were safe, fed them, put to bed on time, etc. That was it. The other daughter did all of that but also put effort into the kids. She played with them, enjoyed them. Guess who the kids clamored for the next time Mom needed a sitter. Good luck.

If the kid is under 3 you should charge about 12 a day. I f they're over 4 try 10 a day. It really depends on how the kids act, if they're spoiled or if they're good. Oh it also depends how long you take care of them.

how old, how many children, what experience do you have, how long to wath them for and how do you get home,,
all these things matter when deciding the price to charge but if for friends ,come to a mutual agreement, if its for business purposes 10 dollars an hour is fair
thanks

We give ours about $1 an our for each child, except on short-notice gigs or late nights. Then, we give her more..... But, she lets us choose, because if she "set" an amount, we may watch our times more closely come home earlier, thus, in all actuality, shorting her $$.

If it is your lil sib charge 2.50 an hour.
If it is someone else's child charge 5.00 an hour.
Or 2 dollars per child per hour.
That is just my input I hope it helped.
