If you think that there is a chance that you could be pregnant, then calculate your menstral cycle and see if it is possible first. How to do that you, count from the day your period started (eg. if your period started on the 21, you count from the 21) and you count fourteen days. On the fourteenth day is your ovulation. If you had sex with a twenty four hour period on the 4th of the following month you could be pregnant. I would suggest waiting another week and trying another hpt. If still neg. and you still feel unsure go to your family docotr and get a blood test. Or if you are a teenager go to a family planning center nad someone should be able to help you.

I would just to be safe, because it is possible to have a period while pregnant. Your body may have low hormones so the HPT is not picking them up. That would also explain your periods. My sister-in-law went through that. Negitive HPT and periods. She ended up being 2 months pregnant. She went to the doctor because she felt sick all the time. turned out she was pregnant.

ABSOLUTELY! I spotted to a point I thought it was my period during both of my pregnancies. I would wait another week and take another test to be sure. It is unlikely that you are pregnant but not impossible! Good luck and if you aren't ready to have kids right now..... do whatever you can to protect yourself, it's a HUGE responsibility and you will forever be tied to the father of that child whether you like it or not. Having kids is incredible, having a "baby daddy" not so good!

I would take another test when your done. I got what I thought was my period 2 times before I finally went to the dr. I suggest maybe going in sooner than 2 "periods".

Yes you can, I was 4 months pregnant and still getting my period. Had no signs of being pregnant until my husband became sick..also my sister-in-law had her period for 8 months out of the 9 month of being pregnant.

you can definately still recieve your period until possibly late into the second trimester.
i've seen this sort of thing happen a few times and in a few cases periods continued well into the pregnancies.

You can spot, but if you're pregnant it's impossible to have a real period.

Consult with your doctor to be sure.
