Ok there was this girl that used to like me since high school I am know in college I am 18 she is 16. She told me she liked me and I used to think I liked her. Then when I saw her I thought she very pretty and I really connected with her, but was too young for me.(This was a couple of months back) So I stopped answering her phone calls. My mom advice me to stop seeing her!! then she finally got me to admit that I didnt want her anymore and that I just wanted to be friends. I always liked her but she is just too young. I did flirt with her a couple of times but she never paid attention. I think she is a great girl. but now she told me she think someone else likes her and she might go ahead and give him a chance. I am jelous and I want her back because we really did connect and I like her. I just could not deal with the age factor. I call her and she doesnt answer what should I do? do you think she still might like me?
How do I get her back? I really like her

Tell her what you just told us. But... this, my friend is what they mean when they say, " what comes around, goes around." I think the bad Karma monster just took a big bite out of your, ummm, heart.

Next time be upfront and honest FIRST and see how that works for you. Sorry for the lecture, but it's what I tell my boys and what I'd tell some guy who did something like this to me.

Beyond that, don't despair. You are both still young. Life may take you each on a different path for now. The age difference aside, you may find each other again when the timing is right and you have both had other experiences in life that will help you understand each other better and treat each other with care. Maybe you need to learn those lessons before you start a relationship so you don't damage it beyond repair too soon. Does that make sense?

If she chooses this time to see someone else, tell her you like her as a person and you respect her right to follow this path and that you will always be her friend. Then be one. If you want to tell her (ONCE) that you would like to be the "special" person in her life, that's fine. But don't say it over and over and over. Also don't let her use you to boost her ego by making you say it when she just wants to hear it while she is off dating others. Say it once and if it comes up again just say, "I told you how I feel, I'll tell you if that changes."

It's a tough thing, these emotions of our hearts. I wish only the best for each of you. Good luck!!

If you actually win her back will you really still want her? Is this fair to her? Does she actually have someone or is she just trying to make you jealous? Why don't you tell her what you just told us and get over the fact that she's 2 years younger than you. She'll be in college soon enough and then it won't seem like that much of an age gap.

What does this have to do with movies? Is this the next plot to the next really bad teen movie?

If she is UNDERAGE, then back off. She can be a great girl at a later date, and all these high school romances usually don't last long. You're in college, so many new people to meet.

Just two years difference. So what? Since she's underage you shouldn't mess around with her, but give her a chance. Especially since you already like her anyway. Two years really isn't too bad.

1 - this has nothing to do with movies
2 - you didn't want anything to do with her untill she was going after someone else - this means you are shallower than a raindrop.

Leave her alone and grow up. Head games like this are only going to cause you grief.

You can't share your life with someone untill you have a life of your own.
