Well now, if he thinks he can do a better job at whatever you are doing, stop what you are doing, say here you go you finish. Then when he is done, critique his work. Just give him a taste of his own medicine.

When I date a Know-It-All, I tell her to do it herself or leave me alone. I also have no problem saying that I am not seeking advice on the topic, and that I have survived X many years doing it my way just fine.
If they persist, it wont be a long term relationship anyway, because it displays a lack of respect for the partner's intelligence.
