If you have the cash get a guitar teacher, look in the yellow pages for your nearest one. If you have not got enough money put an ad in your local news paper appealing for some one to help you learn to play asap, you never know some one who does not play any more for some reason, like getting too old , but would love to help an up and coming youngster, that's if you are one. But if some one does offer you their help always tell your parents or some one where you are going and what time you will be back , and take your mobile phone if you have one with you . Good luck.

I found that getting a book to teach you is the cheapest way. I started by doing a lot of practise, about 2-4 hours a day, and i've only been playing it for five days, and already know the notes, etc. You really must persevere. I couldn't play barré chords at first, but know i can (It does help if you can play another instrument, read music etc.)

Get a good guitar teacher, that's the fastest way. Otherwise find tabs of your favoutrite songs and practise.

It depends on how musical you are, if you can play other instruments then it should be easy, just get some good instructive CD's or mags, have regular breaks and persevere

e-mail me and I'll send you an ebook on how to play if that helps, I got it from e-bay, but I'll send it to you for nothing, just send me your direct e-mail, if not well good luck.
I may not have time until tomorrow, but I can send it then
