Your question is vague, what type of animals do you want to know about , there are various type's of Ecosystems - Freshwater ecosystems are : Rivers, Streams, Pond's , Lakes and Wetlands.
Marine ecosystems : Temperate Oceans , Shorelines , Tropical Oceans. etc.
Rainforest ecosystems, Desert, Grasslands , etc.
Crocodiles for example have been surviving for 200 million years, if you you could just tell me which one is it that you would like to know about then i could help you.!!!
