I love my friends, don't get me wrong. But sometimes I feel left out. I have two main friends, so we are a trio and a lot of times when they talk, they kind of are just looking at each other and I feel pushed out. And sometimes they will say random mean things about people who pass by, but only so I can hear. Am I a jerk, or do I have a right to feel like this?
p.s. if u all wanna no, i am 13, so dont go saying "u had better be 11 or 13 to be asking this kind of question"

being 13 or 30 won't make a difference in this situation.. it will and always will happen.. it's just being insecure.. it's normal for everyone.. for one thing, you can't really expect that everyone in your trio will be as close as you'd wish.. they might have more in common with each other than with you, and you can't really bame them for that.. that's just the way it is.. but, just think of it this way, just because they talk more and that you sometimes feel left out, it doesn't really mean that they don't think of you as much a friend as the other one.. if they really are your true friends, it wouldn't matter if you were halfway around the world and not talking to them, you are and will always be their friend.. so just stop being insecure about it.. :)

I think you can get all the advise in the world on this type of subject and you will still get these feelings. These, as casual as it sounds, are part of growing up. Being aware of this is the best sign. Come back in 5-8 years and report how everything turned out just fine.

i totally feel like this sometimes! (and im 16) my friends usually go off somewhere else and talk about stuff and never let me know. do you remember a time whenyou talked bad about them? maybe someone told them what you said. talk to them and say your sorry if you did that. if ur innocent, then still talk to them and tell them your feeling left out. otherwise your friends aren't the greatest, go out and find some new ones, smile, laugh, be talkative and meet new people!
