I have 1 golded female hamster and want another.I can I put them in the same cage?My mom says no male cause if they mate she may eat the babys.So now she said i can get a female i f they can live together.What should I do............????????????????????????????????????????????

two hamster of the same sex and from the same litter can be kept ALWAYS together in the same cage PROVIDED that they never were separated;
even so, they should never be put in company of an animal of the other sex.
thus, in your case, NO, don't put the two females together; they'd most likely fight to death x( 8-X :-L

It is a bad idea to put two sexually mature golden hamsters together in the same cage. Hamsters are desert animals by nature, and rarely come together in the wild. Moreover, as opposed to other pet rodents, the females are the more aggressive of the two sexes. They will likely fight.

umm i depends my hamster is a golden and my friends is her sister so they used to always liketo be together and its been a year since shes seen her sister an i dont think they like each other anymore you understand?!?!?!?!?!?!

no you shouldn't. they will fight regardless of their gender.
Hamsters live in their own seperate cages and are happier that way.
if they both are babies, then its a possibility, but as they grow older, they will need to be seperated.
