I find stone circles to be the most intriguing, because they turn up in so many locations/cultures. But I don't really have a theory on the explanations, other than that they may have been some type of ancient time keeper, maybe like a clock and calendar all in one.

The flooding of the Black Sea / Mediterranean and there affects on the Flood Creation Myths.

I have my doubts on the latter flooding, but of the former I'm more believing. I really don't know how they affected the Flood Creation Myths. On one hand, it seems too good not to attribute any significance, but on the other hand, alot of other cultures that have little connection with the middle east have their own flood myths.

Atlantis, and I think that Plato just made the story up as an allegory to warn people what might happen if they "angered the gods".
