Once you've seen a few of them, you've seen them all. How many variations on the same theme can there be? It's like reading a Louis L'amour book. There are two or three themes, and then tons of variations on the same themes. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-RING!

Definitely boring...one of the biggest problems i have with Law and Order it feels like its targetting toward more white people. The characters are stereotypical and say the cheesiest lines when they think they are slick, the lighting is always heavily grey and dull no matter what, and they play the exact same ominous music.
Worst of all, the cases all sound the same. Some sick tormented man somehow takes a whole episode to take care of. Criminal Minds, CSI (not CSI: Miami) and several other cop shows do a lot.
The bad gays are so black and white...and honestly, it doesn't keep me on the endge of my sheet. they always out-talk the suspect until he reveals it all. Its to the point that it seems like its intentionally boring....

Hell no it's not boring. Although I like the original Law & Order the best.

I love law and order. It is interesting the cases that mirror other cases that have or are happening. makes you think.
Though I do have to say sometimes they do get a little old, most of the time the show is exciting.

It only seems boring because the show now that are on tv have become more fast pace an L&O stays with the format that makes them the money.

I do...but then, I am being a little pre-judgemental or bias since I won't watch it because, it, the title, doesn't grab my attention and I tried watching one episode but got in the middle of it, and of course was not impressed. Still, probably for some other types out there...

We need alot MORE "law and order". Look at the errant behavior we tolerate.....anti-war protests by people who are traitors...."civil rights" marches by groups who think they've been wronged when they haven't....
Protests like these should be handled by helicopter gunships.

well, yes. but i think all tv is boring. the concepts move too slow, the images too fast, and the ads too long.
turn it off all together. sell it off, even. you will still be 100% busy with whatever (currently being squeezed out) moves into your life to take it's place.
you can still watch DVD movies on your computer if need be.
